Since 2003 BVA has developed a work made of photographs and

videos taken from her cell phone. Some of these pictures have

become large scale prints, a source of inspiration for BVA's

photograph series. On the other hand, most of the photos and the

videos were part of the “REPORT ON BODY and the Body System”

projects.

Illustrating the notions of intimacy and immediacy, the cell phone is,

in a sense, a third eye for BVA. The low level of quality it implies

changes our perception of the very subject. More than a

communication tool, these new generation mobiles allow us to

capture our own environment (intrusive eye) as well as being a part

of us (hand extension).
